I am a seasoned educator turned travel agent who is excited for the next stage in life. When working, dreaming of travel was what got me through the bleak winters of Michigan. I remember looking out the windows and imagining myself sitting at the edge of the Caribbean blue waters under a palm tree with a cocktail in my hand. Sometimes it was hard to draw myself back once my mind was adrift. Even after succeeding at my “dream job” within the school, I dreaded the long winters.
Once retired, I decided to make my dreams a reality and started my own travel agency, Picture More Travel. Now my husband and I spend as little time in Michigan in the winter, taking ocean cruises to escape the cold.
